A native of Illinois, has resided in the Dallas area since 1983. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science, a master’s degree in Social Work, and a Master of Divinity degree.

Wanda has a heart for God and His people. It is evident in the service she has rendered in the community.

She has served as Honorary Chairperson and Task Force Member for the American Heart Association, Chairperson for the Alumni Association of the School of Allied Health Sciences at U. T. Southwestern, member of the National Association of Social Workers, member of the Junior League, member of the American Adoption Congress and others. She has worked in the field of Adoption and is presently devoting her time to her family, ministry and studies.

A born again Christian, Wanda is a member of the St. John Baptist Church in Grand Prairie & Southlake, Texas, where her husband, Reverend Denny Davis, is Senior pastor of one church in three locations. They have been blessed with three beautiful children. Wanda has made great contributions to their ministry. She formally served as Minister of Music. She was the visionary for their Social Service Ministry and Annual Women's Retreat. She is part of the church's teaching ministry and presently serves as the Women's Ministry Director and Women's Discipleship Coach. Never too busy, Wanda still counsels individuals and families when there is a need.
