In 2001, Victorious Disciples, a discipleship/mentoring ministry was birthed, as four women were discipled for one year to foster spiritual growth and development. Through this small ministry, a workbook entitled Victorious Disciples: A Women’s Practical Guide for Christian Discipleship and Mentoring was published in 2004 and discipleship became a major focus of Light of the World Ministry. With the vision of a multiplying, multi-cultural and multi-racial ministry, God has faithfully increased the discipleship ministry, as women throughout the United States and abroad are participating is this practical study/program of biblical principles.

In an effort to formally structure and position the ministry for future growth, Victorious Disciples Ministries, Inc. was established as a non-profit corporation. The primary thrust of Victorious Disciples Ministries (VDM) consists of the following components:
